How PayPal Goods & Services fees are calculated
Most PayPal fee estimates combine a percentage fee and a fixed fee. Some payments also include an international fee.
Basic formula: PayPal fee = amount × percentage fee + fixed fee.
Reverse formula: charge amount = (target amount + fixed fee) / (1 − percentage fee).
